My stat array, with racial and cultural bonuses, ended up being Might, Dex and Intellect at 16 with the rest at 10. This was my Watcher and main damage dealer, and boy let me tell you it wasn't underpowered to me. Well, it just turns out I just finished a POE1 playthrough on Normal difficulty as a melee two-handed weapons Cipher, so I have some insights you might be interested in. But in general, I'd love any advice I can get. That's really where I'm worried about crippling my character. Mainly I'm looking for help with the attribute points. I'd prefer to not do two weapons because my first character was a dual-wielding rogue. However, is that going to be too counterintuitive/difficult? I think the idea is cool, and I know that the Aedyr culture gives you a GS off the bat. The other thing I'd like to do is make my character focus on two-handed weapons, greatswords, estocs, etc. (I play on easy, I'm not great with CRPG combat in general.) However, I'd like some help to make the build as viable as possible. I've read on a lot of posts that a melee Cipher can be very sub-optimal, which I'm willing to accept. ![]() In particular, I'd love to try out the Cipher class. I just finished my first playthrough of Pillars 1, and I really enjoyed it! Enoguh that I want to try a new character more or less immediately.
